Your better off glancing vehicles to death in this edition though, plus AV14 isn't that big in the tournament meta at the minute (at least from what i have seen). Needing a 7 on a pen roll really effects the chance of one shot kill on a vehicle.

Pulse lasers having those 2 extra shots mean that are also great against 2+ save units/MC's. For example, my riptides hate them as wounds them on a 2+ and they only get 5++ against them. Two of them firing 8 shots could easily kill a riptide in one round of shooting.

Makes pulse lasers really versatile and the better option in the list.

Plus i assume that the fire dragons are in the list for the serious anti-vehicle role and the wraithknight (i'm assuming it has the S10 cannons) isn't to bad at it either.....

Cheers,

Pulse lasers are great, 2 48" STR8 AP2 shots are much better than 1 36" str8 ap2 shot with lance, Hornets are super mobile, but super flimsy! So can use the 48" range to cause damage and say out retaliation range.

My anti-landraider comes from the Melta and Wraithknight as Vince talked about. Hornets go hunting elite units or causing mischief outflanking. They're very much a distraction unit with a massive kick!
