So been tweaking my list for the GT at the beginning of November...

Spiritseer – 70
5 Dire Avengers in Wave Serpent with TL Scatter Laser, Shuriken Cannon – 195
5 Dire Avengers in Wave Serpent with TL Scatter Laser, Shuriken Cannon – 195
5 Dire Avengers in Wave Serpent with TL Scatter Laser, Shuriken Cannon – 195
5 Fire Dragons in Wave Serpent with TL Scatter Laser, Shuriken Cannon – 240
5 Fire Dragons in Wave Serpent with TL Scatter Laser, Shuriken Cannon – 240
1 Hornet – 2 Pulse Lasers – 80
1 Hornet – 2 Pulse Lasers – 80
Nightspinner – 115
Wraithknight – 240
Total: 1650pts

What do you guys think?

Can anyone think of a better way to spend 115pts? (Nightspinner isn't that great)

Alternatives I can think of:

Swapping Autarch with Fusion gun and Chainsword for Spiritseer (13pts) and a unit of 6 Swooping Hawks (96pts) leaves me with 6pts I cannot spend.

Again Autarch for Spiritseer (13), 3 Shadow Weavers (90), 2 Ghostwalk Mantles on the Fire Dragons Serpents (20)

Swapping a unit of Dire Avengers to Wraithguard (100pts) and then adding a Ghostwalk to a Serpent (10)

Or something else or keep as is, what do you guys think?

I won't get much mileage out of a Farseer, as he cannot buff from inside a transport, once on foot it would be nice to twin-link both fire dragon units.

Another option I was thinking about is a unit of 6 Warp Spiders for 114pts...

Complete garbage mate! I doubt you'll win a game with that nonsense!! Unless you play me of course, you'll probably smash my face in!! Haha

Joking aside I really like the list! Personally I'd go with the warp spiders purely for the annoyance factor!

yeah i'd go warp spiders too. they're a wonderfully versatile unit.

They look pretty cool Rob! What made you go with Pulse Lasers instead of Bright Lances?

Each hornet with 2 pulse lasers will fire 4 48" S8 AP2 shots.

Compared to a hornet with 2 bright lances fires 2 36" S8 AP2 shots with lance.

With both being the same price in points, i know which i would go with..... Tongue

Yeah I see your point but those Bright Lances would be better against AV14 than those Pulse Lasers.

2 Shots needing 4's to Glance, 5's to Pen vs. 4 shots needing 6's to Glance and no chance of a Pen.
