yes they can take fortifications, to have quad gun all you need is bs value,

As discussed on the phone it's still a grey area haha the FAQ says they are unable to fire 'emplaced weapons' ie the heavy bolters on the bastion but people are still arguing that this doesn't include weapons purchased Confused this sucks! I have a great list if I can take a defence line with a quad gun but I'm back to square one if not haha

From an entirely fluff point of view, tyranids shouldnt be able to fire fixed weapons (aegis, bastion guns etc)

from a fairness point of view, they probably should be able to.

It's a bit of a joke really but I'm slowly giving in to the fact it's not gonna happen! Had a great idea for a bug aegis line too!
