Successfully funded alright!

That's a lot of moolah. Hopefully the massive amount of extra backers won't affect the schedule to much. I want my spaceships Smile

They have a long time til dispatch time, so I have faith in Hawk. Got to decide whether to bolt on resin fleet assets now, those painted ones looked good...

Yeah funnily enough, Will and I were literally just discussing the exact same thing! The painted fleet assets look really good! (My wallets hoping they don't put up painted pics of the space station next....).

Quote:Dec 16 2015 Update #35 - Christmas Break and Timelines

We’ve been working hard on the logistics behind Dropfleet commander since long before the campaign started, but with the final tally we have more exact numbers to work with. We’ll be slowing down a bit over the Christmas period as staff take holiday, so will be less active in terms of updates and answering messages, though Dave will be spending some time finalising the remaining designs.

In the mean time we would like to lay out an approximate time line so that backers know where we’re planning to go from here and in the first quarter of the new year:

December: All Plastic ship classes finished, with plenty more images to come in January.

January: Pledge manager goes live, allowing backers to choose their bolt ons and add more if they would like. Unlike the Campaign itself, backers can add funds using PayPal or credit and Debit cards.

Early February: Pledge manager closes (we will announce the date in January).

End February: Beta Rules go out to Admirals. EU Admiral Backers day. Start of production.

March: UK Admiral Backers Day. USA Admiral Backers Day. Production of sets and rewards

Please note that thing may shift to slightly later in the year, though we are still planning on dispatching rewards to backers in late June.

Kind regards and Happy Christmas,
The Hawk Team

They've sent out the pledge manager emails over the weekend but I hadn't received mine, so I checked my spam folder and gmail had spammed it! If you haven't had yours, go check your junk folder!

Anyone getting stuff through me, send me PM with exactly what you want me to add to my pledge for you.

Just completed the pledge manager, simple enough, think I got everything. Chris and Matt, you have until March to do it.

For anyone that missed the Kickstarter for Dropfleet Commander, you can jump on the bandwagon with a later backer pledge through the pledge manager at http://dfcpm.com/.

RE: Dropfleet Commander - Gareth - 15-08-2016

Just noticed that Firestorm Games are starting to list items. Expected date is 10th October.

RE: Dropfleet Commander - jjakaalbinoboy - 24-08-2016

For Gareths benefit mostly, I will share something I read on a blog earlier.

Quote:Dave also clarified for me something that may have been answered already; The kickstarter exclusive ships. They are uniquely named and sculpted, but will share their statline and abilities point for point and word for word with a standard ship available to everyone when the game hits retail. This makes me very happy as tournament legal exclusives with no equivalent are a thing that has really irked me in miniature games in the past.
