I read something from Chris Averiss about this model integrating with the Ferrus Mannus model when that is released.

During the HH weekender two versions of Fulgrim were spotted. At a previous event, (I have a feeling last years GD,) FW said thee would be differing versions of Primarchs, in differing books. All should be balanced, but obviously with the introduction of Warlord Traits, and differing army lists, etc, they can show the Primarchs at differing states.

Fulgrim may well be the first of those.
