@Manrogue
Interesting.

couple of other ones (Dark Angels of course)

-Ravenwing command squad can purchase upto 2 extra black knights

– Power Field Generator
Add “If the beareris embarked upon a Transport vehicle, the
powerfield’s effects only apply to models embarked upon that
vehicle”.
That gets rid of the 6" bubble round the land raider which is a great shame.

and a couple of FAQs

Quote:Q: Do units deploying via the Deathwing Assault special rule count
toward the limit of unitsyou are allowed to keep in Reserves at the
start of a battle? (p44)
A: Yes.
no sh*t

Quote:Q: The Standard of Devastation states that ‘all friendly Codex:
Dark Angels units within 6” of the standard treat their boltguns as
Salvo 2/4 weapons’. Which boltguns does this apply to? (p66)
A: This applies to the standard boltgun (24”range, S4, AP5,
Rapid Fire), twin-linked boltguns on bikes, the bolter
component of combi-weapons, and hurricane bolters.
course it only refers to them, i still cant believe people were arguing for heavy bolters, storm bolters etc...

Some of the rule arguments i read on dakka are comical at best, face palm worthy at worse. Worse one i have read recently is putting your Comander with a drone controller with a Riptide (MC) and 2 shield drones (Are part of the unit and not wargear which then makes it a 3 man unit) to make him T6 (majority toughness) and the drones BS5..... Technically legal but so broken and not intended.

Are you still using Imotek with your Orks big Rob? Because-
Q: Do attacks, wargear and special rules that automatically affect
enemy units, such as Imotekh’s ‘Lord of the Storm’ special rule,
affect Allies of Convenience? (p112).
A: Yes.

I did this with scrabs and spyders in 5th dition. The spyder pooped out one scarab and I gained 3 extra wounds and the unit was still T6.

I did play it like this before. I don't run orcs with the storm lord anyways but have played a game with Dark Eldar on my side 2vs2 and blow up a freindly raider with it's contents Huh

Quote:Page 99 – Deathwing Terminator Squad, Options
Change the second bullet point to:
“• Any model can replace his storm bolter and powerfist
with:
- a pair of lightning claws ……………………………….free
- a thunder hammer and storm shield ………….5 pts
great....so my terminator sergeant who doesn't have a storm bolter and powerfist cant take a Storm shield and Thunder hammer any more.....what a joke.

was looking at this and it is not legal as you can not join a MC as it is a sole one unit, so this idea is not legal, otherwise I would join a Haemonculus with my Talos.

Got some bad news maybe for a couple of you with your warlord. He has to be in your primary detachment (p109) with the highest leadership (p111 at top).
