Never took off at the club but i would interested in giving it a go, keep looking at the boxed set and get tempted to purchase.

Have a couple of UCM resin bits but still in packaging......

Right ive ordered both books ucm starter an phr starter + few little extras (zeus/odin for phr, command apc an gladius for ucm) it wont ship till 30th September though Sad

Are those the new plastic starters you have ordered or original resin starters?

I am assuming the new plastic ones from the 30 September wait time but just curious....

I like either the shaltari or the scourge. Anyone know how many points you need for a normal battle?

Apparently you can have a reasonable game with just the starter sets, no idea on the points value they come out at.

A lot of games i have read seem to be 1500 pts.

They recommend a lot of terrain and a lot people i have spoke to have said the card city pack is a good deal for starter terrain-

Yup plastics

Yeah the reckon that you can have a decent game with the starters, i just added one command an heavy choice to mine our clubs fow terrain supplemented with some card buildings would be ideal.
