The Council of Ulthian
#1
The Council of Ulthian: "Again we must thank you Lord Tyrion, for coming to our aid and leading our brave warriors to victory. In recent months our nation has lost many battles against the old enemy. Since your return they have come at us with even larger armies and yet you have thwarted them. Twice they have come in recent weeks, and twice you have sent them back to their dark holes, defeated... We are endebted to you my Lord."

Tyrion gives a slight nod to the gallery as he addresses them: "Our warriors fought bravely and though we won the day not all have returned to their kinfolk. The Dark Ones are our most feared enemy, as they should be. They alone have honed their skills as long as we. And, as they, in their evil minds, are a naturally more warring race than the High Elves we must respect that they have established greater tactical skill on the battlefield than we. In truth my Lords, we owe a debt of gratitde to the Dark Ones themselves, for it is by studying their tactics, and fighting fire with fire, that we have been able to win the day."
