Warpath Launch Party @ Mantic - 12th November 2011
#31
I am really interested in KoW. However I haven't looked into Warpath as such, all I know is a little background on the factions, and I would look to the Empire, erm.... I mean Corporation. What was in each of the starter sets?
Star Wars Legion - Rebels
Guildball - Alchemists
Blood Bowl - Lizardmen

The Warpath starter set is this one: http://www.manticgames.com/Shop-Home/War...icles.html

The Kings of War starter set is this one: http://www.manticgames.com/Shop-Home/Kin...leset.html

The latter, Mhorgoth Rising, is currently in its second edition, with a third due out in January. The difference between the editions is minor tweaks to the miniatures contained within, and progressive iterations of the rulebook:
  • First editions contain the initial ruleset as a leaflet.
  • Second editions contain a revised mini-rulebook.
  • Third editions contain a mini version of a hardback rulebook that is due to be released around the same time.

Warpath is expected to follow the same release mechanic as this.
