ive heard rumours but necrons getting a new codex have been going around for years lol
what ive heard though is the basic point cost is getting bump down to 12/15pts (different souces saying different pt cost) from the 18pts their well be back roll is gonna be on 5s and 6s on d6 (though i have also heard it just gonna be on 6s) but they can make the roll even if knocked down by instant death stuff (which was the only way to make sure they didnt get a chance)
models wise ive heard they are getting a new veichle and new monstous create and new hq but no new troops

If you check the dakka dakka forums, or heresy online, they all point to sources saying this edition codex BUT compatible with 6th edition. One guy on heresy online has 100% spot on with his predictions for this year(*including dark eldar and sister codex updates) and he says his sources reckon a halloween release, and have on good authority that there will be more transport options available.
Also point to Immortals becoming a troop choice.

ya i talking to someone on it (cough cough playtester) BUT as he pointed it out he been told to playtest lots of different armys and rules and although the releases arnt too far away from when he tests theres been a few instances when he been to test somthing and its yet to be release

Showing the models off on there facebook page still, annouced two Necron transports, the ghost ark, and doomsday ark.
