Club Gaming Mats
#1
The club is looking to purchase 5 lots of 6'x'4 gaming "mouse mats" from Deep Cut Studio at Salute next weekend.

We're looking to get a range of mats to cover a few different genres and landscape types. We're not getting anything smaller that 6'x4' in order to keep the size consistent and get a discount.

Given the short-list in the poll above (sample images below) could you indicate which of the mats you prefer. We'll then use this to influence which ones we get. If there are any others that you like the look of on the Deep Cut Site then let us know and we'll always consider those too.

"Badlands..."

"City Ruins..."

"Cobblestone Streets..."

"Cobblestone..."

"Frostgrave..."

"Gotham..."

"Medieval Ruins..."

"Muddy Field..."

"Plains..."

"Urban Ruins..."

"Urban Wasteland...""

For generic gaming mats you can't really go wrong with simple grass.

If you are getting 6 then I would suggest:
2 x muddy field
2x plains
1 x urban ruins
1x urban wasteland
DZC: UCM
DFC: UCM and PHR
Saga: Gall Gaidheal
Bolt Action: Heer Panzergrens
Warzone: Capitol
Epic: Orks and Marines
Necromunda, Mordheim, BFG, Frostgrave..basically anything that isn't 40K or the abomination that is Age of Sigmar.

Cheers Hector - pop some votes for the those into the poll at the top of the thread (can only specify each one though, but it will help build a picture of which ones we should focus on).

That’s a good selection. We’ll settle on 5 tomorrow and make arrangements to pick them up at Salute if we can.

Thanks for the all the votes everyone, we've now closed the poll. The top 5 were:
  1. Urban Wasteland
  2. Muddy Field
  3. Urban Ruins
  4. Plains
  5. Badlands
This seems like a good selection to me, so we'll press ahead and place an order.

I’m going to prepare labels for the relevant bags too. When they get done (probably the same 15th,) can we make sure they go back in the correct bags. Obvious I know but the bags will probably get placed on the floor whilst gaming, and it’s then possible to get them mixed up when packing away.
