Battle 1: vs Luke, plunder the camp. Belbo led his fierce kinsfolk in a dawn raid on some invading dwarves. Swarming over the crude camp defences they torched the supplies of the enemy and slipped back into the woods once the mission was accomplished. Victory!
Battle 2 vs Stu, the relic. The hobbits ran forward as fast as they could, the archers loosing a couple of arrows to no avail. A couple of the horselords cavalry charged Fredo and some hobbits on the left and they were brutally cut down by the Rohirrim. The long legs carrying the relic slipped off the board as Belbo and Sally prepared to fight the rearguard of the enemy to the death! One hobbit died of his wounds but a replacement was found. Defeat!
Battle 3 vs Paul, Seize ground. The hobbit force was split in half, and try as they might, they had to forego a lot of shooting to run as fast as their little legs allowed to meet in the centre. Deadly bow fire and daring sword work by the evil men of the east made short work of the small-fok and they were mercileessly cut down, Belbo deciding discretion was the better part of valour as he turned and ran (slowly). Defeat!
Battle 4: ?
Battle 5: vs Luke. Hobbit force stormed a hill, red sally cutting her way through the dwarf shield wall until they surrendered.
Battle 6: vs Rob: Hobbits cut to pieces by the Rohirrim but held onto hill position to capture the Rohan captain by nightfall. Bloodied but unbowed, for the Shire!
