Shadow Wars of Armageddon Campaign - Map and Results
#11
So how do we all feel about "selling" or "upgrading" fighters? The book doesn't seem to deal with it as far as I know. I've got 3x CSM in my list, but could i "upgrade" one to a gunner/specialist? How do you all read that bit?

Also, quick reference PDF which is probably easier than flicking back and forth in the book, as the SW:A book seems a bit hard to reference.

Sorry for the belated reply Alan, I'll have a reread of the book and let you know.

In theory it should be doable, as there is a limit on the amount of specialists you can have I believe - which would stop you having an entire team of plasma gunners.

Remember your recruits level up after 3 games, so you shouldn't need to sell any fighters except to make way for specialists if there isn't a way to upgrade to them.

So last turn was a miserable failure on the part of the good side, with everyone losing their games. Mike has now joined in on the good side, and my Space Marines are moving into a supporting role (they'll play any games that people aren't available for).

EDIT - Russell added in after being forgotten.

Turn 3 Move Order
Mike
Alan
Dave (Fitz)
Russell
Chris
Dave (Wako)

You are currently at number 12.

Alan moved through and fought Chris. It doesn't matter to much as you can move through an allies territory for free.

Edit - Just realise you're missing from the initiative order! I'll update shortly.

All Turn 3 moves are done, and the conflicts are as follows

Russell attacking Luke/Mike at 7
Chris attacking Russell at 12
Dave attacking Russell at 12

Dave/Chris - if the first one of you to play Russell wins, then the second one will attack a different territory (I'll randomise it). If not then the second game will also be for 12.
