I don't personally collect Khador, but after playing them 3 times, I think I've got a pretty good idea of some tactics, good 'jacks and warcasters to use, good spells etc.

I've noticed that the Heavy warjack Beast 09 is pretty epic, just because of his armour, weapons and special abilities (pretty much everything you've got on a warjack, then Smile). He's got a P+S 19 weapon with the Ice effect. A nasty piece of work, and on my second battle against Racheal, I had to throw literally everything in my arsenal at him to take him out of the game. If you're not into the bigger and most expensive 11pointer warjacks, then I can strongly recomend the Juggernaut as, although not that much cheaper, he packs a serious punch. I believe that he too has a P+S 19 weapon, along with his other P+S 15 open fist. the most frustrating thing though (by a mile) is that critical freeze. Although not that common as it's a critical freeze, when it does get a critical hit, it can near enough obliterate your front line. Armour is the most worrying thing, though, as he has armour 20 (like all Khadorian 'jacks), but then he has 34 damage boxes! For only 7 pts he is absolutely ridiculous, and, even worse, he has FA (field allowance) U, which means that you can have as many of him as you have points and models!

Onto units. So far, the only unit that I've got up close and personal with are the Doom Reavers. Boy oh boy was that a fight. I think that the only reason that I now have a phobea of them is because of the insane amount of dice that they end up rolling. They will tear down anything in their path, including themselves! That is why you should always have the unit attatchment, the Greylord Escort. I'll quote the Doom Reaver 'Kill themselves' rule:
Berserk - When this model destroys one or more models with a melee attack during it's combat action, immediately after the attack is resolved it must make one additional melee attack against another model in it's melee range.
Yeah, nasty. The tactical tip it give you is: Spread the models out if you don't want them killing each other.
That is a good tactical tip. But, if you add the Greylord Escort to the unit, then they do not have to make an additional attack, so they don't have to kill one another. Only downside is, what happens if you kill the escort...

Khador would appear to have some nifty little casters in their faction, but the best one by a long way has the be the Butcher of Khardov. With 20 damage boxes and a P+S 16 melee weapon, he's one tough bunny. Unfortunatley, he only has Focus 6, so sometimes struggles to cast those high Focus spells like Obliteration and get Focus to his 'jacks, but even then he is near as makes no difference invincible.

Hope this helped you, and I'm sure that Simon, Justin and Racheal can give you a further helping hand.

one question do they have the stats of the weapons they have on the card with there stats on? or do you need to get the rule book prime to have all of the weapons in?

You thought butcher was bad, wait till you meet Karchev the terrible, he's a warcaster in a WARJACK body!

At the next meet I'll show you the forces of khador book. It's similar to a 40k codex where it has the stats for all the khador models released up to the new expansion WRATH.

Doom reavers are one of my favourite units but they are a double edged sword, lethal in melee to both your opponent and your own army if you're not careful. They have an intimidation factor on the board if your opponent is aware of what they can do, and they will attract a lot of firepower to get rid of them, which is where the unit attachment comes in, the greylord escort gives the doomreavers silence: they don't have to make berserk attacks and tough: which allows them a chance to survive your enemies attacks, giving them a better chance of getting to the enemy.

Other units of note are the widowmakers, a small unit of snipers able to hide themselves from enemy view while picking off enemy units and solos, Iron fang pikemen are our heavy armored troops able to form a defensive line with their shield wall ability and keep the enemy at bay with their explosive tipped pikes. Man O War shocktroopers are our elite shocktroops, encased in heavy Man-O-War steam armour they're able to take a punishing amount of damage before closing with the enemy and dealing out their own punishing attacks.

Then we have more specialised units like the Greylord ternion, a trio of ice wizards able to use the chill of winter to encase their enemies in ice, cause an obscuring blizzard or blast their enemies with shards of ice. Kossite woodsmen are expert trackers and hunters, able to set up ambushes to spring when the enemy least expects it. Great bears of gallowswood is a unit of characters who haved honed their formidable fighting skills in countless battles and are able to take down any of khadors foes be they warjacks or units.

This isn't an exhaustive list, there are still more units which i actually haven't had experience using myself, Assault kommandos, winterguard infantry, winterguard riflemen, Man-o-War demolition corps and kayazy assassins to name some of them.

I will return soon with a quick run down of casters, warjacks and solos we have available

All the stats you need are on the card, some of the special abilities that are common among lots of models have been shortened to a symbol on the card which you may need the rulebook for if you're unfamiliar with them. Though i would reccomend the rulebook anyway as its invaluable for the rules, background story, stats of many of the models for each faction and a model guide in the back

Waaaaaaaa. I am going to have nightmares about Mr Warjack Warcaster...
Yeah, all the stats are on the card, so the only thing that you really need the army book is for the model pictures, brilliant bachground information on chararcters and the faction in general and for certain unit attatchments. The army books also give you 'Tactical Tips' which do exactly what they say on the tin, give you a little help advice on how to use the models to the best of their abilities. Apart from that, you don't actually require to have the book if you're planning on playing a game, but I have the softback version, just for a bit of good reading.
