Deal of the Decade:

As most of you are probably aware, the Hive Mind called me and I yelled ''praise to the great devourer'' and sought to control my own fleet to wreak havoc upon the imperium.

That day finally came this weekend with a deal that started off amazing and ended incredibly.

£60, Leman Russ, 2 Sentinels, 20 Jungle Fighters, Schaeffer's Last Chancers, Auto Gun, Grenadier and Captain for the following.

20 Hormagaunts
6 Warriors

Already, wow, really liking this trade. Getting a solid foundation to build mayhem off of!!

Then the deal really heated up.

He then also offered the Codex, and if I was to buy in bulk, serious discounts!

Yes, this is ALL GW, not failcast, or even chinacast!

You heard it right folks, £60 and a bunch of old IG.

I also have 2 Hive Guard on the way for 4 still-on-sprue Scarab Swarms, and a third off of eBay.

From my previous wheeling and dealing there is also a further

And then to top it off I found out about eBay automatic bidding.

I put in an offer of up to £12 for a Carnifex thinking to myself no one is going to sell it at that price! It allows me to test this automatic bidding thing and I won't risk too much!

Well, yes, I won it at £9

From deciding some 6 weeks ago, i've saved so much in the long-term I am very happy walking everywhere and making lunch every day and skipping coffee shops for the next fortnight only for this exception!

Moral of the Story! Hunt around! Ask your friends, friends of friends, maybe another club or social group have a different heavy meta!

Always ask about trades and see if people are willing and don't be afraid about it all as the worst thing that can happen is they say no!
