Liking what i have read myself, drop pod alpha strike army backed up by bloodclaws in flyers could be very tasty as mentioned earlier in thread.....

Njal is amazing for his points although he lost some of his cool turn based rules but 180 for a lv3 psyker in termy armour is very good. Characters on thunder wolves can join units which is ace. Long fangs are good and can take flakk missiles (sky fire). Logan is good but veeeery expensive. They've lost their additional hq slots which kinda sucks!

Overall it's pretty good but I'm not gonna rush out m buy a ton of new models! If I was building a whole army I'd go drop pod dreads and wolf guard with long fang support but the codex doesn't offer much as an allied force which is all I'd really want.

Not tempted by the flyers at all then Nick?

235 pts for 2 TL multi melta, TL lascannon and TL helfrost cannon with transport capacity 16 seems awesome to me!

Not sure what you mean about HQ's?

Ahhhhh i missed the new detatchement!! Just assumed itd be further forward in the book like it uses to be! 6 60pt priests in 6 pods full of guns? Awesome!! Lol

I do really like the flyers rules!! Was the main reason i wanted to build an allied detatchment so i could ship my death star in it! After a second look through im starting to like it a bit more........

Yeah tempted by the flyer myself, nice allied detachment for my knights with added bonus of bringing anti air.

Just working out a list at moment, something like-

1 Knight lancer
2 x paladins
1 x errant

allies
Wolf guard battle leader
blood claws
storm wolf
