first one:

During round three, the battlefield has dried out. However there is a
strange feeling in the air, and the Winds of Magic are less stable than
normal. Any Wizard that rolls two or more 1’s when casting a spell, will
generate a miscast. A Wizard can only suffer one miscast per spell,
and note that a result with double 1 and double 6, will still see the
spell cast with irresistible force, before the miscast is resolved, as per
normal. It also appears that there is an issue with items of a magical
nature in general. Any such magic, or runic item is shorting out, and
becomes a mundane item of the same type, if such a mundane item
exists. If not the item becomes worthless, and cannot be used for the
duration of the game.

and second one:

Game 1 - There is a storm approaching, and it is causing chaos with
magically attuned items. The Winds of Magic are less stable than
normal, and a sense of dread passes amongst Any Wizard that rolls
two or more 1’s when casting a spell, will generate a miscast. A Wizard
can only suffer one miscast per spell, and note that a result with
double 1 and double 6, will still see the spell cast with force, before the
miscast is resolved, as per normal. It also appears that there is an

I have lost the plot, could You gareth please explain it to me. Thx

Andy the rules pack is the rules pack. The original suggestion, was me throwing ideas out. I switched the effects in game 3 to game 1, so that it made a little more sense. Magical storm approaches, magical storm gets there and does a British summer, magical storm disappears leaving a soaking mud bath underfoot.
I also worried a little, that you were reading Round One, shooting gimped, as TURN one shooting gimped. Round was round of the tournament, so I changed the wording to GAME. If that allays fear.
If it doesn't seem understandable, now let me know again.
