League Table
#11
Nah I was thinking you'd have separate entries for each army? So it would be a league table of armies rather than players.

Just trying to think how best to score it, probably paper forms that you put VPs (from rulebook) on, players, armies, points etc.

I was thinking the table would be ranked by GP, W, Loss, Draw first of all then secondly by VPs from missions in rulebook. Would anyone want old style VPs where its points killed etc.?

Could be a bit too much admin to do after a game really.

I'd say keep it simple and do win/lose/draw, plus what the Vp's were (new style)
40K - Dark Angels, Dark Eldar, Necrons; Lord of the Rings - lots; Bloodbowl - Dwarves, Wood Elves; SAGA - Anglo Danes & Welsh; Guildball - Morticians, Engineers; Dropzone/fleet - Shaltari

To add onto Chris point VP's for, against and Difference?(ie what you scored and what your opponent scored)
That could be then used to determine final positioning if multiple people finish on the same WLD position.
40k- Space marines(5000 pts) Imperial guard (3000 pts) Tau (3000 pts)
Epic 40k-Space marines/Imperial Guard(2000 pts)
Infinity Yu jing (Aprox 1000 pts)
Necromunda Escher Mad capsules Avalanche
Blood bowl Skaven

Yeah sounds good to me.
Games Played - Wins - Losses - Draws - VPs
Not sure how you'd do VP difference though as that would be a per game stat rather than something that could accrued?

could just have VP difference which could accrue, would that work? It gives an indication of how much of a thrashing you gave or took.

eg if you lose by 3-5, your vp diff is -2
next game you win by 7-2, your vp diff is 5, cumulative diff is therefore +3

What happens in the relic mission where there is a max of 6vps up for grabs when you could be playing the scouring where a total of 18 are up for grabs? Surly that gives a big advantage to those who play the lager vp missions on a regular basis over those who play bore draw and the relic.

Or I am I missing a trick and it's the old style vps? IE I killed 1250pts of your stuff and you killed 789 of mine?

It's true the unbalanced nature of the missions could cause problems but the VPs are a secondary grader for when theres a tie. Games Won of Game Played will be used first off, for times where people have played/won the same amount will then be graded by VPs. Unless we use the VP difference to grade as the 2nd option? As this shouldnt be so badly affected by the varying points in missions?
