List Feedback

Only the scouts on the table deployed. Everything else in a pod. Awesome sauce.

Do you still need the blob with pods? I think by the time all the pods are dealt with the blog will not get a chance to be targeted.

I like the drop pod list Rob, gets round the low maneouverability of your tournament list.
40K - Dark Angels, Dark Eldar, Necrons; Lord of the Rings - lots; Bloodbowl - Dwarves, Wood Elves; SAGA - Anglo Danes & Welsh; Guildball - Morticians, Engineers; Dropzone/fleet - Shaltari

Right, I've been messing with the list again and I think I've pretty much settled on it now:

Rune Priest - lvl2 - 150
Wolf Priest - Saga of Hunter - 110
Primaris Psyker - 70 (Warlord)
Company Command - 4 Meltaguns - 90 (in Vendetta)

8 Wolf Guard - 5 Combi-Plasma,3 Combi-Melta, Drop Pod - 219

Platoon Command - 30
5 Infantry Squads - 5 Autocannons, 4 Power Axes, 3 Meltabombs - 355
Veterans - 3 Flamers - 85 (in Vendetta)
10 Grey Hunters - 2 Plasma, Drop Pod - 195
10 Grey Hunters - 2 Plasma, Drop Pod - 195

Vendetta - Heavy Bolters - 140
Vendetta - Heavy Bolters - 140

Aegis Defence Line - Comms Relay - 70

=1850

The plan is pretty simple, the marines land in the enemies face turn1 and cause a little havok, the Guard then come on turn2 and do the same, while the blob and whatever is left scramble for objectives, while picking off anything pushing for the midfield. it's good a picking off infantry and tank's while weak units hunkering behind defence lines will get BBQ'd by the Veterans!

have I missed anything?
