As to why my kill team is here, Sl’sylth has made a possibly fatal mistake and failed in the assassination of the archon of the black heart kabal, this has resulted in a price upon his head 100 souls for the capture of him and the few warriors he fled the dark city with, should they ever return. Such a price means he can no longer return to the dark city or even the web way unless he can pay the bounty himself to the archon, and he has a plan to pay the archon back. The agents of the imperium have been transporting prisoners which they are using as payment to the kabal of the black heart for them to conduct realspace raids into tau systems instead of attacking imperial interests. One of these shipments has gone missing in the vicinity of the Thessica system, a shipment of 100 cryogenically frozen convicts. If Sl’sylth can find the location of the shipment or even who is responsible for its disappearance then he may be able to use the information to buy his way back into the Kabal. Of course he could also capture a few unlucky souls on the planet and pay his debt back that way.
