Looks like Game/Gamestation are about to go bust, unless a buyer can be found, and even then it'll be a hatchet job to keep the business open.
Be a shame to see it go, but Redditch could do with another couple of mobile phone shops I think.

MCV has rumblings that they may mothball Gamestation for a new look Game;

It would be a shame as personally I prefer GS, however anything that could save at least some jobs and stores would be a positive - not sure where this stands in light of the administration announcement today mind.
The group spread themselves too thinly with the acquisition of Gamestation - there's many a high street with a GS competing against at least one Game if not multiple stores, and none of them
competing with online prices. It's a shame whichever way you cut it though.

I have heard that part of the US take over, required Game to go into admin. If true its not all doom and gloom, as a buyer would have been found.
