Tried out my first list last night in a game of SwapFleet against Chris, went quite well but I kept forgetting to raise my shields! I used this list:

Second list looks good, You've got fleet assets to hand and good numbers of Ground Drop. With no Corvettes however I feel you will struggle to remove enemy Strike Carriers, apart from the Voidgate Charged Air thing.

I would drop a basalt for some corvettes and maybe a frigate for active scanning
