Further to the mention of Frostgrave over on the Osprey Publishing thread, Northwind Miniatures are kicking off a "Nickstarter" pre-order program for the title...

Review of Frostgrave from The Garage Gamers blog: http://thegaragegamers.blogspot.co.uk/2015/05/frostgrave-fantasy-wargames-in-frozen_25.html

The "Nickstarter" is still running until June 29th: http://nstarmagazine.com/FROSTGRAVE.htm

RE: Frostgrave - Simian - 16-07-2015

So the Nick starter book has arrived for this and im already planning a warband, and sorting out a mat and suitable terrain for this, did anyone else go in for it and would anyone be interested in a game sometime soon?

RE: Frostgrave - Stuart - 16-07-2015

I've got the book on the way from Amazon. I'll take a look through and settle on a warband! Definitely up for a game soon.

RE: Frostgrave - jaqenhgar - 16-07-2015

look forward to getting a few games in, im building a warband out of my WFB dwarfs and some snow terrain etc is on its way

RE: Frostgrave - Stuart - 16-07-2015

Looking forward to this. Tempted to pick up the new fantasy skirmish rules from Otherworld Miniatures too.

RE: Frostgrave - Stuart - 20-07-2015

My rulebook arrived yesterday. Nicely produced hardback, looking forward to delving in to it.

RE: Frostgrave - Simian - 29-07-2015

So apart from my d20 refusing to roll below 15 and deciding the game Stu and I got in a good game last night, seems like a really simple to play, really fun game. A campaign should work well so if anyone is interested Stu and I will be playing another game in 3 weeks to try and cement the rules. the game lends itself to 3/4 way fights just as easily so feel free to shout and join in!
