Something similar to the second list with two units of centurions with a captain/chapter master and tau commander in one unit. tiggy and coteaz in the other maybe?
i love the idea of scouts in storms but i do not have the models or time to paint them so im sorta stuck with tac marines which sucks! this alone means i need something to protect them hence storm ravens lol its actually driving me mad!

Rob - no worries mate, list looks good to me, Tim is really anal, you might want to fix the typo in the list to state Commander in the Tau allies :p to points are right etc
Nick - list looks good to me, not sure how useful Coteaz will be in game, but double chance to seize is great! So I guess it's a hard choice between a centurion or Coteaz?

Nick, just worked out the points and the list is 140pts short at 1710.. more centurions into the death star please!

Lol i wish it was! Forgot to put the 140pts for the 2nd tac squad! Im actually 10 over so ive gotta drop a melta! Although do u think its worth putting 2 x 5 marines in the stormravens instead so i can use the 160 to boost the 'death star'?

Hmm thinking about your list, you could go 2x5 marines, but I'm not sure coteaz is really worth it.. don't get me wrong basically being immune to being seized on and doubling your chances to seize is great... But with Tiggy rolling 3 times on the divination tree (with re-rolls as required), I feel he's a bit redundant in this list.
So could drop him and 5 marines.. gives you quite a few points to play with...

Since 5 this morning I've managed to paint yellow, orange and brown wash... 8 Battlesuits, 14 Gun Drones (need to find another 2...), 30 Kroot, 5 scouts, Inquisitor, Landspeeder Storm and 3 hounds... gotta love dance music when speed painting!
So only need highlight and finish that lot off, paint three Skyrays, all the weapons need painting I'm done... easy :p
