Had another look for some 2mm MDF, and found that Travis Perkins (nearest branches are Bromsgrove and Alcester) do 8x4 sheets: http://www.travisperkins.co.uk/Search?pagesize=10&pagenumber=1&emptycat=&search=2mm%20mdf&sortby=&modifiedterm=

No price on their site, but I would expect such a sheet to be around a tenner. I've asked for quote anyway.

Who'd be interested in getting some? I can either pick up a few sheets in the Chrysler of Doom, or we can split some.

I'd be interested in some to base some terrain on if we could get cut to a more managable size?

I've got a table saw in the garage (somewhere) so should be able to cut some boards up into more manageable sizes.
