Back for a third year, the Great Indoors team are thrilled to announce that GI2018 will be a two day event on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th July 2018 at Parkside Suite, Bromsgrove.
Tickets are now on sale for Worcestershire's biggest and best annual board game event. The structure is based on the success of the past two years and your ticket gives you access to:

  • Loads of open gaming space with signal system for finding games/gamers

  • Extensive games library of 80+ titles (free to use)

  • Asgard Games retail area

  • Blind charity auction

  • Raffle for £50 BoardGameHut voucher (£1 a ticket)

  • Family zone with games suitable for the whole family

  • Giant Tsuro

  • Learn to play Omweso, national game of Uganda

  • Solomon Kane by Jake Thornton - Mythic Games

  • X-Wing - our volunteers will be running games across the weekend for new players and veterans alike
Saturday will run from 10am - 10pm and Sunday 10am - 6pm.
Through our blind auction we will once again be supporting Chrysalis Youth Empowerment Network (registered charity no.1158392) who continue to do fantastic work with young social entrepreneurs in Uganda. The aims of the charity are to work towards trying to ensure every child in Africa can reach their potential. Our support will enable CYEN to train up new young people to learn how to play board games and to take them out to places where they can teach new young people to play the sort of games played at the Chrysalis Centre in Kireka, Kampala. Depending on how much is raised, the proceeds could be used to sponsor three young boardgamers through school this year.
Finally, our fully licensed bar will serve drinks and snacks throughout the weekend.
