Welcome, which 40k armies you got Sincilbanks?

I got a vanilla SM army that's about 6k points and I'm just starting building a BA army, both custom chapter paint jobs... I usually proxy my BA mech with my SM until I decide what to buy now 6th Ed. is out!

Ben, thanks for putting up with my lack of knowledge of the game last night.

I enjoyed taking on your BA even if the DICE were against me for most of the the game.

We got a couple of things wrong on reflection, but that was entirely my fault (forgot deny the witch rolls for psychic powers, and blasts (but not barrages) are resolved for wound allocations from the shooter not the blast template, just like a normal shooting attack, I don't believe either you are limited to killing the guys only under the template but can wipe out any or all of the unit)

If I'd rolled like you did my reaction would have been nowhere near as classy as yours. I really felt for you after turn 2...

Just found your website (via The Warhammer Forum), never realised there was a club so close to me!

Ok, so a little about me.

I have played Warhammer Fantasy since the release of 4th edition and between me and my gaming buddy we have managed to collect 3 armies - High Elves, Orcs & Goblins, and The Empire. Probably have about 3000 pts worth of each made up of very badly painted miniatures (we are gamers rather than painters!).

I live in Worcester and would be very interested in attending your club. Could probably attend every other week and would be very interested in playing games of Warhammer Fantasy.

P.S. is there an application process, secret handshake, initiation???

All new members must bring in chocolate hob nobs or custard creams. Seriously though...custard creams are nicer.

Welcome to the club! I have a high elf army that I have had a few games with and there are several of us who have fantasy armies and play sometimes so nice to see more fantasy players.

Glad you found us and welcome! We've got a few fantasy players, so you should be able to get some games arranged without too much trouble.

As Chris says the only initiation involves crossing our palms with biscuits. We stopped doing ritual sacrifice as it made such a mess.

Yeah and the worst case scenario with custard creams is that you dip them in your tea too long....
