3D Printing
#1
Following on from a previous discussion with Vince in the SoC thread, there's an interesting piece in Wired on 3D printing, including details of a run in with Games Workshop:

Some interesting times ahead for this technology.

It occurred to me last night that a model prototype/one-off/limited run 3D printing service would be an interesting idea. Basically someone with some 3D printing kit would offer customers a facility to upload digital models to be printed and sent back in the post.

And, true to form with most of my other ideas, today I saw this posted on Facebook: http://www.creativebloq.com/3d/3d-printi...e-10121083
