Yep, from http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/conten...=16600002a

Quote:This month we will be increasing the price of some of our products. This price change will take effect from May 28th.

No other details as yet. Sure I read something last night about price increases to further models being released in Finecast, but can't find it now.

Must be may. Oh wait it is. Every year without fail, since going public, one price rise. And that's why I don't bother too much with them. My major issue fell last year, surrounding the WH Army books. £17.50 in paper, but these new hard back books, will cost £5 more. Ok no worries, better bindings, and will take wear and tear a lot better, I agree £5 is a fair price increase. However less than two months later, the price had to rise, in line with everything else. If you knew that they would have cost £25, just sell them at £25. They blame rising production costs, for rises, but as far as a VAT free book goes, the production value has remained fairly static.

Ah, this is the space marine models that was metal and have been switched to finecast and a price comparison.
I wonder what lines the price increase affect?
Hopefully not the last 2 valkyries i want, as they are the only thing i'm struggling to get on the cheap off eBay along with Hydras. (just won a 1 of the 2 Chimera i want to finish my army for £10, just need to watch for the last one now!)

I agree with you Gaz hence why i have gone Mantic guard! Tongue

ouch, that's more encouragement to spend money elsewhere. However...I'm going to have to finish my Necron force off first. Plus, it means more money to be made on e-bay for anyone looking to sell.
