Official Errata
#1
What is the considered opinion of those Malifauxers among us with respect to official rules errata - do you stick religiously to the rulebook, or apply the official errata missives from Wyrd as they become available: http://www.wyrd-games.net/forumdisplay.p...Discussion

Personally I use errata, as soon as it becomes public knowledge. Very little, up until when Justin picked up the Dreamer set, would have had any impact on our little gaming group. Most of those reams of Errata, is basically telling the rules lawyers out there, to go away and play rules as intended and not rules as written.

A good chunk of the errata is also to correct printing mistakes on the cards so it can be worth a read through for that alone.

Yeah a lot of that was the V1 to V2 cards from book one. There was one change in book two, that tidied up the difference of how an ability was worded, because it was different on two different models.

However from a Wyrd stand point, once an errata is released, it becomes an official change. Similar to how GW and their errata/FAQ system. Once published, that is how it is to be played in store. It's a tad clumsy, and not everyone will be clued up all the time, but I usually keep an eye out, for anything of note.
