And Luke, if you want a seriously hardcore, realistic game, try Red Orchestra 2 on the PC. Worth a look if you fancy a bit of realism in your games. Get shot, you have to bandage or you bleed to death, and if you take a hit in the arm, your accuracy goes out the window, and if your legs get injured, you cant run anywhere near as fast.
Nick, I'm a PC gamer myself - I have a "fairly" okay PC at the moment, though I do intend to upgrade it probably next year. It seems to run Deus Ex Human Revolution happily enough though so hopefully BF3 should be okay.
I haven't bothered getting BF3 yet because as a rule it's not as much fun to play FPS games online if you aren't in a clan of people you know. All my mates play on PS3 but I can't STAND consoles .
