New forgeworld releases
#1
Thought would be worthwhile having a thread dedicated to new forgeworld releases.

Love this new release-
Quote:[Image: Vorax5.jpg]
Vorax class Battle-automata are hunter-killer units, their design based on an ancient template pattern said to date back to the Dark Age of Technology. Created on pre-Imperial Mars to fulfil the roles both of search and destroy weapon and exterminator of rogue machines and mutant vermin, their Cybernetica cortex engrams are known to be particularly predatory and vicious examples of their kind.

Armed with a pair of rotor cannon and a lightning gun, the Vorax are prepared to meet most threats. At close quarters their Battle-automata power blades make short work of even heavily armoured infantry units.

The Vorax Battle-automata is a complete multi-part resin kit, designed by Will Hayes. The kit consists of three Vorax class Battle-automata armed with lightning guns, with an optional Irad-cleanser. The Vorax class Battle-automata are a fast attack option for the Mechanicum Taghmata Omnissiah army list found in The Horus Heresy Book Three - Extermination.

reminds me of the old space crusade dreadnought-

Forgeworld were at comic con in birmingham this weekend, which was a nice surprise (not for my wallet though lol) and the guy i spoke to hinted that Tau are in the next IA book with some new units. Was happy.
Also had a glance through the very pretty HH 4 book, Knight list in there looks ace!

It's not massively different from their first plastic dreadnought.

Shoot them an email. One thing you can't knock GW over is their customer service. You'll probably end up with a free Primarch.

Wish I'd just sold it on eBay now... they just emailed me to say:

Quote:Hi Jason.
Please accept our apologies for the error, we have ordered the Hornet for you and it will be sent out as soon as we can. Your order reference number for this is #####, although this order will not appear on your online account. If you could return the Konrad Curze model to us using the attached freepost address details and returns form that would be great.

Yeah except an eBay search shows two people with KC listed at less than a Hornet and have recieved zero bids each. You could eBay it but you would be out of pocket.
