Tau Ethereals
#1
OK folks, I've been through the fleet lists and in most cases re-rolls are purchased as an upgrade for a Fleet Commander with the exception of the Necrons so are unavailable for your fleet in a campaign. That said, the wording on the Tau fleet list is:

Quote:The commander has one re-roll included in his points cost. If you wish, the commander's ship may carry a member of the Ethereal caste and therefore purchase additional re-rolls at the cost shown.

Aun'el (1 extra re-roll) 25 pts
Aun'O (2 extra re-rolls) 75 pts

It is listed under the Fleet Commander entry and is effectively and upgrade for the Fleet Commander (as it benefits him directly) but in reality it's adding a character to the flagship, kind of like a Chaos Lord. I think therefore that this should be allowed in the campaign as it makes sense for the flagship to have an Ethereal.

Bonus! But I can still shove him out the airlock if anyone isn't OK with this.
