Q: If I'm defending in a battle in the Rebo © sector, do I get a free Blackstone?

A: Yes. If you are Chaos (or it's derivatives such as CSM etc.) it's an Activated Blackstone Fortress (Rulebook page 127), everyone else gets a standard "Imperial" Blackstone Fortress (Rulebook page 145). This is only available if the battle is fought within the Inner or Primary Biosphere.

In the campaign rules for requesting reinforcements it says you can recruit a squadron of up to 5 escorts. However in the main rules for squadrons it says a squadron can consist of up to 6 ships. Which is correct? Can't see why they would reduce the allowed number by 1 just for the campaign rules.

I think it's a typo tbh in the campaign rules. You may recruit up to 6.
