Good points raised Gaz, i should say i don't think (if this pans out to be true) killing off WFB and turning 9th into skirmish would be the way to go. I think it will make a lot people look at alternatives and/or become fully disenfranchised from GW and potentially kill off peoples interest in the fantasy side off things.
As a product to go alongside WFB it would be welcome but as they killed off specialist games i can see it replacing it instead. I do like how it sounds like they are introducing WFB space marine like line to replace humans. Surprised it took them this long to realize that what WFB was missing was fantasy Space marines with mechanical crossbow guns and hand crossbow guns and swords. (obviously sarcasm!)
The outcry on various forums is mental, does make for good reading though as it doesn't affect me, i'm to busy collecting space marines!
