I dont think watchtower scenario is a good idea. I wouldnt expect anybody to finish that one on time. 45 minutes means You should keep everything as simple as You can. I just share my point of view

Gaz to clarify - I took it that the points for painted units had a maximum score available of 1 point. Not 10 points for 10 units?

Yup. Although getting 10 painted units in would be difficult.

My knights get a free Gallant with each unit. Is this a named champion, and not allowed, or are they ok?

As long as you don't call your Gallant Sir Lancealot your fine. I mean the the named Unit Champions which often come under the special character section. There isn't any in the Brets so go wild.
