Necromunda Campaign results
#1
If we post our results in this thread as games are played that'll hopefully help us keep tabs on what's going on.

Details I can think of to include are:
participants
what scenario was played
what the outcome was

I guess injuries/new skills etc can just be updated on your gang roster in the other thread, no need to list them here, but feel free to post amusing/awesome anecdotes!
40K - Dark Angels, Dark Eldar, Necrons; Lord of the Rings - lots; Bloodbowl - Dwarves, Wood Elves; SAGA - Anglo Danes & Welsh; Guildball - Morticians, Engineers; Dropzone/fleet - Shaltari

so first game was the Mad Capsules (Vince, House Escher) vs The Undertakers (Chris, House Cawdor)

Gang Fight scenario; the Eschers ended up demolishing the Undertakers, who voluntarily bottled out with 5 members down or out and several more pinned, while only one Escher (the leader) was down! The Mad capsules occupied an Old Ruins previously held by The Undertakers, who retreated licking their wounds and vowing revenge.

Four of the Undertakers carry permanent scars/wounds from this fight, including the orphan 'Boy' who picked up a head wound from a particularly evil ....erm...lady!

Second game for me was The Undetakers vs The triumphant illegitimates (angry panda).

Gang fight scenario again (we decided to keep it simple to start with). It was a brutal shoot-out with the illegitimates closing on the undertakers hideout, but being outgunned in the end and withdrawing (Panda had to leave and he had more guys down than me (6 or 7 down/out to my 3) - we were both taking bottle tests by this stage).

highlights - the orphan 'boy' was suffering from stupidity this time from his head wound and wandered into the open after he saw something shiny on the ground, he was viciously gunned down by the orlocks. Boraro took a bullet to the face and lost an eye, but one of the orlocks was killed by the return fire, and as they fled another captured - this female orlock was ransomed back to the orlock gang since the undertakers were desperate for some creds after losing some of their territory to the Mad capsules previously.

So on the 18th Stu (Grey Area Gang) vs Panda (The Triumphant Ilegitimates)

Gang Fight (I think)
The grey area gang won but the Illegitimates seemed to come off better with some nice skills and one of the grey area gang bit the dust!

I am going to do a monthly round-up of the campaign after next weeks fights.

Viskars hunters vs Grey area gang, gang fight
Grey area gang won after the spyrers failed a bottle test and legged it, taking one of his gangers hostage. We had enough time for a second game and decided to play out the rescue then

Viskars Hunters vs Grey area gang Rescue
After successfully taking out two of the spyrers time ran out, but stu's gang were in a very strong position so we decided he successfully rescued his poor captive ganger

2 victorys for grey area gang
WARHAMMER/AGE OF SIGMAR:  khorne warriors of chaos
WARMACHINE: Khador, mercenaries
BOLT ACTION 51st highlander division (in progress)
KILL TEAM: Adeptus mechanicus

Bomber's Command meets The Mad Capsules - TWICE!

Bomber had heard of a new Trading Post the other side of the pipes, Joe’s Trader. His scouts told him the Mad Capsules gang fancied the area as their territory. He didn’t expect a friendly welcoming committee – and he was right.

Bomber led his command to an area that was well protected, safe to hide behind! He knew their presence would not go unnoticed and in the distance the taunts began. The Mad Capsules yelled they would close for the kill and carve The Command with swords…

So as those Mad boys started circling in an attempt to outflank The Command, Bomber positioned his heavies ‘Bert’ (Lancaster) and ‘The Duke’ (Wellington) to cut down anything that moved. And so it was… The Duke opened up on a couple of gangers, downed them, one injured, but one just a flesh wound ran to cover where he cowered for the rest of the skirmish. Bert covered by ‘Helpful’ (Halifax) and ‘Cooda’ (Barracuda) altered position ready to open up when the chance arose.

The Mad boys ran and climbed and leapt like monkeys, all that is except for one heavy who stood motionless on top of a container box. Through the chinks in the steelwork Helpful, Cooda and Bert hadn’t noticed he had a bead on them…

Bham! The heavy stubber fired (a 6) and Helpful was down and out (another 6). The gun swung across to Bert, his eyes stared at the muzzle of death. Then click, click, click, click, click. The gun had jammed and Cuda and Bert reacted. Bert opened up with his own stubber, and despite the hard shot (-2) he wasted the Mad boy (a 6) and took him out of action (another 6), but he too suffered a jam. Left with only a knife he would run for cover.

The berserk sword wielding Madmen were running round to the left, The Command skirted right. Cooda was lagging behind, a sharp eye on the Mad leader, he was behind some thick steel work, but as he signalled his men his hand and gun flashed out just long enough for a las shot. What a shot (a 6) hand hit, and hit hard enough to take their leader out. Cooda gave the Bomber salute (pulling the toilet chain) as he dumped on the enemy.

Now the even madder Mad boy’s evasion specialist tried to run through a hail of bullets to get at Bomber. But Bomber’s wing man ‘Mossy’ (Sterling) was ready and he took the crazy Capsule down with his Las.

The rest of the Mad boys fled…

Bomber pulled his funds together and went to see Joe Trader. He had heard there was an Isotropic Fuel Rod knocking about, and he couldn’t resist taking that to upgrade their Chem pit to a settlement. It was a hard choice though as a ratskin map was thrust under his nose. He knew the advantages that might provide on where his next fight might be was not to be sniffed at. But, alas (see later), House Van Saar’s pocket won his mind over.

Having established their new settlement, The Bunker, the Command decided to scout out this Capsule territory some more. Things seemed uncomfortably quiet as five of the guys stood atop some containers checking the terrain all around. Maybe it was quiet because the ‘new’ war wound of their leader was playing up and he wasn’t there to yell abuse. No, there was no need to. This was the perfect ambush. The Capsules, who knew their patch, had surrounded Bomber’s Command and hidden. Nothing to see here…

Bham! Bham! Bham! Bham! Bham! Bham! Six shots from a stubber, a gout of flame from a flamer, and any number of las guns obliterated The Command. Four of the five guys on top were taken out. The one left standing leaped off and crashed to the floor winding himself, the four wounded rolled off the top falling at the feet of their leader Bomber. With more than half of his gang down he swallowed his immediate panic down and thinking to bottle it he looked at The Duke. Wellington shook his head and opened up his own stubber, screaming his hatred as he did. A ganger went down, but it was too little...

A second round of death came from the Mad men and suddenly only Bomber and The Duke were left standing. Bomber shook his head and they were out of there. If only he’d bought that Ratskin map…

Somehow, who knows how, they all survived. The only casualty was a captured ‘Boffo’ (Beaufort)… so much for the increased income of the settlement, 50 credits negotiated his safe release. Next chance of a map he would not refuse.

Back in their own turf, Bomber spent what he had left on three swords of his own. If they bumped into these scum again he would have his men ready.

Good games Vince - well the ambush was horrible really, but... honours even Smile

Treasure island scenario the Undertakers (me) vs Bombers Command (Paul). I lost (badly!).
Boraro the Juve took out Mad jake but then got ripped apart and eaten by his dogs, two guys stepped on booby traps and got taken down and I think three or maybe four kept tripping jakes traps as they tried to run forwards. Paul's heavy stubbers were also lethal.
Votan and Indra both got captured but Paul let me buy them back, so I am now penniless!
Magni fell off a tall building and picked up a leg wound(-1movement), a head wound(stupid/frenzy),survives against the odds, partially deaf(first one no effect), shell shock (-1I) and impressive scars (+1Ld). Added to the two old battle wounds and he is in serious need of retirement! In fact my gang rating decreased from 1490 to 1445 after this game.

It's not the last you'll hear of the undertakers though...we'll be back!
