Hi I'm Jon (as the screen name suggests). I too have been playing warhammer since 2nd edition and have been to loads of GT's (as much for the beer as the games
).
My warhammer armies are Dwarfs (approx 3500 points) and Wood elves (approx 2500).
Just starting up a 40k army (ORKS! YAY) but haven't really played it properly yet so having a club (at last) will be a big incentive to get on with it!
Many thanks to Simon ans Stuart for organising things. Redditch has been desperate for a gaming club for years and as we don't have anywhere to game at the moment it will be wonderful to feel like I've got my hobby back at last.
See you all on Monday night... I'll be bringing 1200 points of tree-hugging hippies if anyone fancies getting shot at
