for the first time in over 10 years I now have to take an unpaid 30 min lunchbreak, so am using that for painting. I find I can do 8 figures ( to my basic standard !!) in a week. I'd get bored otherwise !! but it does give me 2 and a half hours to paint every week, and I don't upset the wife !

A good mate of mine used to work at GW in Kingston-upon-Thames. He used to tell those in suits, who claimed that they had no time to paint, to rather than sit at a desk searing the net on their lunch, to try taking a brush and paint to work. Unsurprisingly painted model count on club night, rose remakedly.

Ok wow not updated this in a while!

So now I'm going to concentrate on 28mm Napoleonic's for Black Powder rules.
Decided that each battalion will consist of 16 figures, including standard bearers, musicians , officer and sergeant.
Just sorted out what I have already assembled.

For the French

Battalion Irish Legion , Officer, standard, 4 light infantry, 4 grenadiers, drummer, 5 muskets, painted and based.
Battalion French Line, as above, but need standard, and topcoats need re painting.
Battalion French Line, as above, but need standard, and re paint topcoats.
Battalion Young Guard Chaussers, most painted, 4to paint, then finish bases.
3 mounted Officers including Marshal Ney, to paint and base.
2 squadrons French Hussars, painted and based.
2 squadrons Dragoons unassembled
Battalion Young Guard Chaussers to assemble
3 battalions of French line to asemble

So eventually (!!!) I will have

1st Corps consisting of
2 battalions Young Guard Chaussers

2nd Corps
3 battalions French line Infantry

3rd Corps
3 battalions French line infantry

4th Corps
2 squadrons Hussars
2 squadrons Dragoons

For the British

Battalion of Black Watch, Officer, 2Standards, drummer, piper, sergeant , and 10 muskets, all painted and based.
2 battalions of Highland infantry, assembled, need painting, and need 2 standards per battalion
Battalion of British light infantry, require painting
Battalion of Portuguese light infantry, based and painted
3 battalions of British infantry to assemble and paint.
Need some standards.
This will give me

1st Division
3 Battalions Highland infantry

2nd Division
3 Battalions British infantry

3rd Division
Battalion British light infantry
Battalion Portuguese light infantry

This weekend I've managed to assemble 16 British infantry, these will be for the 92nd of foot, and the colouring and standard are pretty close to Sharpes South Essex regiment, so will double for both. Managed to paint skin, shakos and jackets.

Over time for an update!

Managed to pick up Mantics the Walking dead from the games expo. I coupled with Battlesystems Cityblock terrain set. Painting took about 3 weeks and last weekend I put it all together.
