RE: Deathwatch - Nick - 12-09-2012

As long as i get a chainsword or 2 i'm happy. I imagine that there are few problems that can't be solved by shoving some whirling blades in its face. After all, i'm pretty much a medic, and melee in general is little more than randomised surgery, so i should get on well XD

First game should be in two weeks, ( Tuesday 25th) and then you get the fun of having requisition points to buy extra equipment for your mission but not having the renown to buy anything nice lol .

Any questions or anyone else wanting to join in post here or message me privately. :-)

Can you save requisition points if you don't spend them or is it spend it or lose it ?

I'd say we have a candidate for official club first-aider Big Grin

RE: Deathwatch - jimbobabob - 14-09-2012

Requistion points must be spent or lost, they're effectively you're suplies for that mission and sometimes based on the mission specialist equipment on top of normal list may be made available. You get an amount based on the difficulty of the mission and everything you buy with them is handed back in at the end where possible.

However there is nothing wrong with pooling your points with another player or buying them something as long as they are allowed to use it. In one game I ran a tactical marine was running carrying a spare ammo backpack in case the devastator ran out.

In the first few games you'll probably find it a bit boring spending your requisition points since what you can buy is based on your Reknown level( see as status or rank within Deathwatch) and other stuff is further restricted by other needs, for instance terminator armour allows needs your marine to have been awarded the Crux Terminatus to be allowed to buy it with requisition points but the entire squad maybe be equiped with Terminator Armour if the mission demands it

Ahh because i'm looking at getting the Sniper Rifle which only requires Astartes Weapon Training which I assume we all have ?

RE: Deathwatch - jimbobabob - 15-09-2012

yeah standard starting talent for marines and checking up the sniper rifle doesnt have a reknown requirement so if you have enough requistion points you'll be able to get one.

RE: Deathwatch - jimbobabob - 19-09-2012

Right Ive done a little maths and for those of you asking the Requistions points for the first adventure im running is 60 each. So if you have access to the books and fancy looking then do so. remember you cant buy anything that has renown requirement and you will start with 6 clips or your main weapon unless its a heavy bolter :-p

Yay, means I can get everything I want then and have 2 points left if anyone needs some.

Jimbo, I've managed to find some of the Black Crusade PDF's as well do you want them also ?

RE: Deathwatch - jimbobabob - 21-09-2012

Ooh yes please, I did have most of them but they went wehn my external harddrive died.

And yes its perfectly all right to pool or spend your requestion on other players except for the inquisitor, she's not allowed anything extra yet lol .
