Pine Bark Nuggets - Stuart - 25-07-2012
If you find yourself dragged out to a garden centre this summer (now the weather has picked up) could I ask you keep an eye out for bags of large pine chunks, and let me know if you find some. Most of what I've found so far has been closer to mulch.
While cork bark is a great terrain building material, it can be pricey (although I know of someone who sells boxes of it for £50 if anyone fancies splitting one). Pine bark nuggets are just as good, but I can't find anywhere selling them in smaller bags - only in large construction sacks at over £100.
