A batch of bases turned up from Dragon Forge today, so I can make a start on my Malifaux and Bushido figures. In theory anyway.

Bar all the edging in Black and Purple, I have completed 13 Small and 3 Medium Lava bases for the Cryx today. I prefer having the bases ready to go before I paint a model, as last thing I want is it hanging around waiting for a base, when I finish the main thing. Tomorrow I should be working on the 3 puppies at the club, so with any luck they should be done by the end of the week. I'll bring in my Templars forge LoS arc tomorrow for the WM folks to look at. They made finalising the Slayers base a breeze.

I'll do me a tutorial as and when I make some more. However the main concept come from a guide on Cool Mini or Not (Bone coloured Bone Jacks or something along those lines.)

I has me a Steampunk Dorothy on order. Thought I had missed out as it was a limited issue Auscon resin model. Beasts of War Tweeted that it had gone White Metal, so snap she will be mine.

Thinks he might be getting carried away with this scenery thing, bought Some pink moddeling foam (24" by 24" by 2"), 100g of static grass, hot wire cutter and some lichen, not including the bits i got 99p store today......... hope people like hedges, hills and rivers.........

RE: Stream of Consciousness - Gareth - 06-07-2011

I love Hills. Infact I was planning on getting some pink foam once (if ever) we get my room switch sorted. At this rate you will have enough scenery to make Simons show a simple thing to put into practice. Infact if you want me to throw a few £ your way to help pay for all your expence let me know.

RE: Stream of Consciousness - Stuart - 06-07-2011

We've got some of the big pink sheets from B&Q - £20 for three of them if memory serves, but they are pretty big. I just need to source myself a hot wire cutter now.
