wings of glory - actungpanzer - 28-01-2013

After looking at X-wing for a long time i stumbled upon wings of glory (formally wing of war i gather), a very similar ww1 /2 dog-fighting game that right away got my interest

im thinking of picking it up but wondered if anybody else had tried,or had a few warplanes?

i think wings of war is nomore steve, from what ive been reading today fantasy flight bought the rights from to Italiano guys then sat on it for a bit, released xwing, the sold it back to the 2 bloke who owned it to start with! they the re-started it as wings of glory

but bloody hell the wings of war stuff prices are inflated i've spent all day scouring the internet at work (payed by the hour hehe) looking for bargin stuff,i bagged a Bf109(some on ebay/amazon where going for £120)GRUMMANN F4 F-3 MARTLET, DEWOITINE D.520,Mitsubishi Zero A6M2 adding the the starter sets P-40 Warhawk, a Yakovlev Yak-1, a Kawasaki Ki-61 and a Reggiane Re.2001

8 planes should be enough for a few decent multiplayer games

Well after a quick play lastnight ive discovered that joe might be a bit of an ace as over 2 games he shot down 4 of my planes for no losses

Fast fun game simple starting rules with a real "fog of war" i like it

Hi Jim,

I have both periods and enough aircraft to start WWI and WWII.
