Balrog of Morgoth - Completed - Simon - 15-05-2011

This is going to be about as good as it gets for me. A very playable figure, but not the greatest paint job. It will be interesting to see how the Mumak of Harad turns out !

Haha..given my previous run of losses it'll probably go down to a barrage of elven bowfire in round 3. After tripping on a small log and burning itself on its on fiery whip !

The flames were hard to get looking anywhere near right and, although they don't look much like the flames on the box, there comes a point when u have to say enough is enough and go with how it turns out. It was very tricky not to have the red at the base of the flames turn pink when trying to blend the colours from red-orange-yellow.

At the very least my 18 month old can now say "Balrog" and roar at me.
