Cubicle 7's own Middle Earth RPG, The One Ring, is an excellent system. I'm not all that interested in the D&D version.
I've heard good things about The One Ring system.

It works really well and despite being in a setting strongly associate with Orc murder it's social and exploration rules are well fleshed out as well.

Its probably my favourite RPG, although I haven't played all that many Smile

Played a lot of merp in my youth and still play Rolemaster. Got a lot of adventure modules and they are gorgeous. Mind you the 5ed d&d books are too!
I have quite an extensive collection of MERP scenarios, adventures, cities, fortresses, lands, gazetteers, etc, etc had been running a 4th Age campaign for years until we packed in earlier this year. D&D rules we played 3.5 version.
