Going to try and do a log on the progress of my new Skaven Army.
Only the initial order had been placed so far, just waiting for the boxes of models and paints to start arriving.
What have you ordered? Got anything from the Island of Blood box?
Also, you planning on round basing them?

Going to be using round 3mm thick mdf bases from War Bases (25mm for Troops, 32mm for Characters, and 50mm for Larger Models).
MDF Oval bases for Machines and very large models from ebay.
So far the plan is to build and paint, Pestilens & Skaven Army.
Thanquol & Boneripper (the model that started all of this) - oval
Plague Furnace - oval
40 Plague Monks - 25mm round
40 Clanrats - 25mm round
4 Giant Rats - 25mm round
3 Pack Masters - 32mm round
2 Rat Ogres - 50mm round

I actually started these about 10 weeks ago, but with Work Commitments, Holidays, waiting for paints to be delivered, etc. It probably only took about 20 hours to do the lot or 30 minutes per model - They were done in a batch of 40
- Glue Together : 2 hours
- Undercoat : 1 hour
- Base Colours : 15 hours
- Shading : 2 hours
Probably got several hours to go until finished
- Highlights : 2 hours
- Bases : 3 hours
- Varnish : 2 hours
Cleared the bench ready for my 40k 8th project - Ultramarines (I think) Primaris & Standard.

Skaven have gone into a box, most likely to reappear on eBay.
