OK so I'm planning to build a new Eldar army based on the Mymeara from the Forgeworld book and I'm looking for suggestions on how to achieve the right effect on the paint scheme...

I'm going for something like this:

My first thought was two tone blue/green paint, similar to the purple/green paint big rob used unfortunately that appears to be easier said than done as I can't actually find any....
That's pretty much a textbook airbrush technique isn't it?
Yeah, plan a was two tone metallic paint, plan b was airbrush metallic blue on one half and airbrush metallic green on the other half.
Yeah as mentioned, thats quite easy to do with an airbrush.

if you was to attempt with a Brush, you would need to wet blend it. I haven't done wet blending in about ten years, so would need someone who has (Gaz or Nick?) to give pointers.

For the vehicles though, Airbrush is definitely the way to go as surface is big.
Going to mess around with the airbrush when I'm home, thin things a little more and see what happens when I lower the air flow to around 20.
Currently set on 40 as airbrushes lose a percentage of the pressure after the initial burst. Hoping I can really improve my airbrush skills with this new project!

Best of luck with the Mymeara Craftworld. Looks like a good but of fun and plenty of airbrushing!
Ok folks so I need an airbrush. Any recommendations on what airbrush to get and/or where from?

Also, any other tips such as what paints work well etc. (I've never done it before so some practice is going to be required....)

Plus Carrie works there and she's worth the trip on its own Wink

If you do drop by and see her, tell her I said "Hi!".

Who's Carrie?? lol
My general advice would be white base coat, spray the whole model kabalite green, lothern blue in the area you want then gauss blaster green highlights on green edges and blue horror on blue edges. In terms of paint, all I ever do is buy a fresh GW pot then fill it to the top with paint thinner. Seems to give me a perfect airbrush mix Smile
